Job Description
Safely operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficient loading and unloading procedures. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to identify any maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance. Accurately record inventory movements using handheld devices or warehouse management systems to maintain precise stock levels. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and injuries while handling heavy goods. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on forklifts to ensure equipment reliability and safety. Stack and store goods in designated areas, maximizing space while preventing damage to products. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers regarding inventory levels and any operational issues. Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute ideas for improving workplace safety and efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, showcasing familiarity with material handling processes. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and adherence to safety standards. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and supervisors. Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges promptly and efficiently.
