Job Description:
Main of Duties & Responsibilities:
Optimize Efficiency:
- Maintain customer requirements fulfillment regarding food storing process.
- Monitoring expiry dates.
- Monitoring temperature and humidity figures.
- Monitoring hygiene proper procedures in the warehouse.
- Managing proper pest control process.
- Train Warehouse team on incoming food shipments inspection.
Analyzing and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to food safety activities, including inspection reports, training records, and corrective actions taken.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance with food safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
Financial Reporting and Documentation:
- Focusing on direct and indirect cost of poor quality of storage.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions related to food safety activities.
Customer Complaint Handling and Investigation:
- Handle customer complaints related to food safety issues, such as product defects, foreign objects, or suspected contamination.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Public Health, or any related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven work experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related field, preferably in the food industry.
- Experience in conducting food safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Certified Food Safety Professional (CFSP) is a plus.
- Certified Professional-Food Safety (CP-FS) is a plus.
