As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the pool restaurant, dry outlets, and in-room dining (IRD) services to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise food and beverage service in the pool restaurant, ensuring a high standard of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate and supervise all IRD orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to guest rooms.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies for the pool restaurant and IRD operations.
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to maintain high levels of service quality and product knowledge.
- Ensure all food and beverages are prepared and served in accordance with health and safety standards and company policies.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Monitor daily operations of dry outlets and ensure appropriate service standards and product offerings.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement effective systems for tracking orders, monitoring service times, and ensuring accuracy in food and beverage delivery.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in all areas, including the pool restaurant, dry outlets, and guest rooms.
- Prepare work schedules, ensuring that the team is properly staffed based on operational needs.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in food and beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role within pool restaurant operations, dry outlets, or IRD.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, particularly within poolside dining and in-room dining services.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Ability to manage multiple outlets (pool restaurant, dry outlet, and IRD) simultaneously while maintaining high service standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve guest complaints and issues effectively.
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering systems.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in hotel or resort dining operations is preferred.
