Duties and Responsibilities Candidate will provide direct support of and the continued success of the United Arab Emirates PATRIOT
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program. This is senior level position and FMS experience is required.
Incumbent will serve as a PATRIOT Missile Defense Field Office Chief (FOC) Subject Matter Expert (SME) in UAE.
The incumbent will provide PATRIOT Air & Missile Defense operations advice and assistance as requested by
UAE. The incumbent will work hand and hand with the UAE PATRIOT In-country staff. The incumbent must
demonstrate a wealth of knowledge on UAE Customs and be an expert on PATRIOT Weapon System. The
incumbent will be responsible for the management of all PATRIOT in-country efforts to include planning,
evaluating, coordinating, and directing all in-country activities; act as direct interface with UAE. Must be
responsible for oversight of fielding, modernization and maintaining related program hardware and services;
representing AMCOM in contacts with UAE and with in-country USG officials. Incumbent must develop and
evaluate program objectives ensuring in-country resource planning and management are consistent with the
UAE objectives. The PATRIOT FOC will perform overall coordination and execute control of USG and contractor
activities in fielding and maintaining PATRIOT and associated support hardware. The incumbent will supply
input to the revision of the existing program management documentation to better meet UAE requirements
and improve program execution. The successful incumbent will be required to deploy in a field environment
with the WPN system, as required and work overtime and non-standard shifts as necessary. The person
selected for this position will be responsible for coordinating programmatic and logistics support to assist the
SAMD Mission. The incumbent must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
