Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established group of companies in Dubai. Our client is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join their Automotive Fleet Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves managing vehicle maintenance, monitoring fleet performance, and optimizing logistics operations to align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fleet Operations Management
- Oversee daily fleet activities, ensuring optimal utilization of vehicles.
- Develop and implement policies for vehicle allocation, routing, and scheduling.
2. Maintenance & Safety Compliance
- Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of all vehicles to meet safety and operational standards.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with transportation regulations, including licensing and insurance.
3. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Track and manage fleet expenses, including fuel, repairs, and insurance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with service providers.
4. Driver Management & Training
- Supervise drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies and road safety regulations.
- Organize training sessions on fuel-efficient driving and vehicle safety.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fuel efficiency, downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Generate reports on fleet operations and suggest improvements.
6. Logistics Coordination
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services through effective vehicle scheduling.
- Address logistical challenges and optimize transport routes.
7. Risk Management & Incident Handling
- Investigate accidents and implement corrective measures.
- Maintain records of vehicle usage, damages, and insurance claims.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or logistics.
- Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transportation regulations.
- Proactive and detail-oriented professional capable of managing fleet efficiency while ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.

- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
