Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Maintenance ,Fabricate ,repair and install to all type Valves & pipe works in the yard Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specification, using tools such as saw, cutting torches, and pipe threads and benders Measure and mark pipes for proper cutting and threading. Preparation of pipe profiles and development for joints. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes fittings, and related equipment, according to specification, by brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints. Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, using brackets, claps, tools or welding equipment Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids form pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches
Experience / Qualification & Skills:
Installing, repairing and maintaining pipe system, support-on pneumatic equipment. Well versed in assembling pipe for steam, sprinkling, heating and cooling. Extremely competent at reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints, cutting and threading pipe to appropriate shapes and sizes, testing pipe systems for leaks using complex testing equipment, and installing pipe & Valve system offshore& onshore. Secondary School Certificate, 2 years Technical Trade certificate/ Vocational Course. Health, Safety, Environment standards and procedures. 3 Years Experience.
