The Fit-Out Site Engineer is responsible for coordinating installation, delivering
high standard finishes, and Fitout work in the luxury villa(s).The candidate is expected to manage a team, regularly inspect the sites, execute work as necessary, maintain equipment, and assign the team to projects
as and when required. All
villa activity is expected to be reported to the Project Manager. The Site
Engineer should demonstrate outstanding knowledge, attention to detail, and
accountability to ensure the smooth running of the assigned Project.
Job Responsibilities:
Inspecting sites regularly to identify problems and
necessary actions.
Preparing weekly maintenance schedules and
allocating work as per forecasted workloads
Understanding requirements, overseeing and
delivering high standard finishes
Planning resources (materials, manpower, tools,
etc.) in advance to ensure continuous workflow
Relaying instruction to the team, and supervising
and training workers if required
Coordinating daily cleaning and maintenance
activities
Overseeing all Fitout and ensuring that work is
completed on time
Maintaining all inventory and equipment, and ensuring
proper storage
Complying with all health and safety regulations
and practices on site
Conducting preventative maintenance work
Conducting follow-ups on all maintenance and repair
work during the DLP period
Conducting safety inspections as scheduled
Establishing
strategies to meet workload demands on time
Performing other job-related duties as assigned
by Management
Requirements
High school diploma, GED
or suitable equivalent
Tertiary education in
civil engineering or other relevant subjects is highly advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ Fitout & Construction
experience at the supervisory
level
Luxury villa experience is a must
Prestige commercial
experience is a plus
English proficiency is required
Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills
Must be well presented
and well groomed
Demonstrable time
management, organizational, and leadership skills
Proficiency in Outlook and
other related communication tools
Strong decision-making
and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and comprehend construction
drawings
Strong ability to oversee installation,
testing/commissioning, and approval processes
Proficient in reading
schematics and work plans
Ability to work after
hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice
Knowledge of DEWA and DCD approvals is
a plus
Flexible with the
project location across UAE
Driving License Is Must.
