Role Purpose: Reporting to Head of Finance – BP&A , the incumbent will be responsible for leading the Central BP&A planning and reporting team covering all brands in Retail across MENA and Asia. They will drive improvements in process, reporting and business performance management that supports better decision making in the retail division. The individual will be critical in developing and implementing a roadmap for the team that covers people, processes, systems and governance.


What you will do:


  • Facilitating and coordinating the budget process (annual plan, three-years mid-term plan and the rolling forecast of the retail division).
  • Lead the preparation of management reports for brands and provide ad hoc analysis on business initiatives.
  • Develop KPIs to understand business performance measured against targets, strategies, and trends.
  • Lead in the implementation of report & forecast automation and enhancement of business processes.
  • Provide ad hoc modelling and analysis, develop scenarios to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues or drive better management decisions.
  • Lead Continuous Improvements that strengthen the controls environment and drive improvements in process efficiency and effectiveness that deliver standardization, automation, and simplification across the Retail Division.
  • Work on system projects to enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with the treasury function to manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements for the division.

What you will need:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CMA/CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of finance
  • professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of accounting software packages, preferably ERP such as SAP and BPC.
  • Familiarity with Anaplan platform for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, with the ability to build
  • and maintain models and workflows.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualization, dashboard creation, and reporting.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts and insights to
  • diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong capabilities in preparing professional and visually appealing presentation decks to convey financial information
  • and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
  • and regions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with MENA and SEA markets, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances is advantageous.
