The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Responsibilities
* Create an overall organizational finance strategy to ensure financial well-being of the company
* Drive the company’s short-term and long-term financial planning for the organization
* Prepare reliable current and forecast reports
* Manage regular preparation of financial statements, reports and recommendations for VP
* Establish Financial and Commercial KPIs across the company’s various functions, overseeing forecasts and actuals, and monitoring performance
* Proactively identify opportunities to improve KPIs and key metrics across the organization
* Evaluate and manage the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure, building relationships with and pitching to potential investors
* Manage investor relations, providing regular updates and reports to shareholders
* Coordinate company audit and compliance activities
* Manage banking relationships
* Oversee cash flow and cash management processes to ensure sufficient cash availability and best practices in cash management
* Coordinate corporate taxation compliance and planning, minimizing exposure and identify potential opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Detail-oriented and analytical
Retail experience is essential
