Our client is a leading T&L firm based in Alexandria, Egypt.
They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance Function and support the Management team on creating Strategy to grow the company. This role is based in Alexandria, Egypt.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


The Financial Manager’s role is to create financial reports, direct investments, and create plans and strategies for the long-term financial benefit of our company. A Financial Manager is a key professional responsible for ensuring the company's financial health. He conducts accurate data analysis and offers advice to senior management on approaches to maximizing profits and securing long-term success for the company.


  • Responsible for financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and internal control
  • Ensuring compliance with governmental regulations
  • Tracking, Reporting and analyzing budget variances
  • Reviewing company’s financial statements to ensure accuracy
  • Preparing month- end report for management, including profit and loss statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
  • Recommending changes in policies / procedures that will improve our financial performance
  • Forecasting future financial performance
  • Preparing and analyzing budgets
  • Monitor actual performance versus budget, and report variances to management
  • Develop financial models and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control
  • Coordinate with Auditors
  • Utilizing updated technology for the job
  • Review and approve expenses
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics
  • Minimum 12 years of work experience in the financial sector
  • Minimum 5 years of middle management experience in a similar role
  • Proficient user of finance software
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Problem solving skills
  • Very good computer proficiency
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
