Job Description
The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of trade finance, supply chain management, and inventory control. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing inventory levels, and managing financial transactions related to trade.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Finance Management:
- Manage all trade finance activities, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and trade credit insurance.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely execution of trade finance instruments.
- Monitor and mitigate trade finance risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor supply chain performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
- Implement inventory control procedures, including regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Use inventory management software to track and manage stock movements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Vendor and Supplier Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve favorable terms for the company.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
