Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller to manage the financial aspects for our People & Culture department. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in aligning HR financial objectives with the company's strategic goals by managing payroll, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and cost control. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a background in finance within HR functions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for HR operations, including workforce planning, benefits, and training budgets.
  • Oversee and analyze all HR-related expenses to ensure effective cost control, recommending cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Work with HR to evaluate and forecast benefits costs, identify trends, and optimize the benefits spend.
  • Develop regular financial reports for HR leadership, providing insights into budget variances, workforce costs, and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements, including labor laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Partner with HR, accounting, and operational teams to align financial objectives with HR strategies.
  • Assist in creating and implementing policies for expense management, budget control, and other financial matters within HR.
  • Implement and refine cost control strategies
  • Collaborate with the subsidiaries finance team to plan the annual HR budget and control expenses effectively, fostering proactive cost management
