Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Accountant / Financial Controller to join our team and lead a 6-month temporary project, focusing on new legal entity establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial integrity and smooth transition of one of our divisions as it separates from the parent company and continue its success story in a new standalone entity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and project management, especially M&As and new entity establishments.

Main tasks:
- Coordination and support of all commercial service lines (Budget-to-Perform, Book-to-Report, Bill-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay).
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary financial data and documentation.
- Develop and implement financial reporting, accounting systems and processes for the new company, including detailed process documentation and handover to new associates.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all financial transactions and project activities.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any financial issues that arise.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, financial performance, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure all commercial operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Support the integration of subsidiaries into the existing financial framework.



Qualifications
  • 8+ year's experience in Finance/Controlling area - preferably in a multinational environment
  • Proficiency in ERP Finance modules - SAP R3 preferred
  • Strong background in financial reporting systems, HFM Oracle is an advantage
  • Solid background of IFRS, particularly IFRS5 and local characteristics (UAE, KSA)
  • Project management experience, especially M&As, new legal entity establishments, outsourcing or carve-out projects
  • Advanced Excel skills - VBA is an advantage
  • University Bachelor/Master's degree - MBA, ACCA, CPA is an advantage
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
