Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Financial Consultant to oversee financial management processes, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights. This role involves periodic closing of account books, audit finalization, and reporting to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a background in finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic closing of account books and finalize statutory, internal, and group audits.
- Prepare and deliver periodic financial management reports to shareholders, TAQA (HFM), and ENGIE (SMART & MTools).
- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments to all stakeholders.
- Submit monthly VAT returns.
- Report on covenants compliance to lenders for a syndicated loan of $1.35 billion.
- Provide cash flow forecasts to inform short-term investment placements (30 to 90 days).
- Lead the budget process and develop the overall business plan.
- Assist the CFO in reviewing and improving internal control and accounting systems.
- Ensure compliance with various contractual arrangements, particularly finance and accounting clauses in Facility, Plant, and O&M agreements.
- Manage and mentor a team of three finance professionals.
Qualifications:
- CA qualified (Chartered Accountant).

- This position is based in a remote area of Abu Dhabi. A valid driver's license and access to a car are required.
