What You’ll Do?


The Field Sales Specialist provides comprehensive support for customers, including promotion of products in the catalog for their reference brand. Additionally, supports customers from a technical point of view and performs training activities for and at the customers on request. And finally assist customers in the preparation of exhibition spaces, ensuring a successful and impactful display.


Responsibilities:


Continuously update product knowledge and build competence in proposing effective solutions via demonstrations for end-user applications highlighting features benefits and advantages. Stay up to date with product knowledge, business flow and market dynamic. Always deliver exceptional customer service including after sales service. Conduct market research on new products and communicate the ‘voice of the customer’ back to Marketing/ product management teams. Identify needs of the end-user, propose, and expedite the solution. Ensure the marketing objectives are met by focusing on categories that increase brand share. Product and safety training to end-user to support customers in driving higher productivity by correct usage of tools and accessories. New product launches to the end-user Support Marketing events such as end-user meets and road shows. Help customers determine which product is the right choice for them. Demonstrate product functionality accurately and completely. Follow up with potential customers. Organise and ensure execution of a Dealer Training Programme in the local market. Updating salesforce system with the potential customers & opportunity funnel. Recommend product enhancements and updates to identify new business opportunities. Support marketing team in developing the marketing strategies for profitability.


What We Need?


Excellent customer focus and demonstrate teamwork by engaging cross-functional support, exhibit planning and implementation skills, possess personal and professional integrity, have a high level of drive, energy, enthusiasm, and determination to succeed, as well as technical understanding of products and commercial awareness.


The ideal candidate should possess research skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data, select appropriate research methodologies, design research studies, and try new methods when appropriate. He should have strong time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and manage information flow between departments and business units for smooth operations. Additionally, he should have problem-solving skills to address issues like customer dissatisfaction and be highly organized to handle multiple tasks and keep track of customer and product information.


  • Education, a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, sales, and marketing (an MBA a bonus) with at least 5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills for representing the organizations in public, during media events and product launches, product demonstrations and while participating at trade shows
  • Strong Communication skills to convey information to customers, suppliers, and team members.
  • Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as in a group to achieve team goals.
  • Good Computer skills for generating reports, viewing marketing metrics, extracting data, and familiarity with any e-commerce platforms and social media to connect with customers and promote products.
