You as a Field Marketing Specialist MEA will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dubai, UAE. This position focuses on organizing, executing and reporting on events, including tradeshows, conferences, user groups and webinars designed to generate leads, build brand awareness and enable customer retention. As a regional specialist, you will leverage your deep understanding of the MEA market and the key industries Utility, Oil & Gas and Renewables, to ensure events and campaigns are tailored to the unique needs of each country. You will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure seamless event execution and alignment with Hitachi Energy’s broader marketing strategies. We are seeking a true team player who will serve as the eyes and ears in the region, providing the team with critical insights and relevant information, while fostering a transparent and collaborative environment to help us strive and reach our ambitious marketing and business targets. Your responsibilities Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of key marketing events, including tradeshows, conferences, proprietary events, and webinars, across the MEA region and ensuring events are well-executed, on-brand, and within budget. Applying your knowledge of the MEA market to tailor events and campaigns, ensuring that local market conditions, cultural nuances, and business environments are considered for maximum impact. Collaborating with Sales to ensure that event-generated leads are properly captured, qualified, and nurtured through the sales funnel. Track lead performance and regularly report on outcomes. Managing all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, speak-er coordination, and on-site event support. Ensure smooth delivery of events, from planning through to execution and post-event follow-up. Conducting detailed analysis of event performance, measuring key metrics such as Return on Marketing Investment (ROMI), lead generation, and attendee engagement and providing actionable insights to im-prove future events. Collaborating partner with product marketing, Digital Marketing, Demand Generation, and Communications teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that support event promotion and align with overall business objectives. Overseeing event budgets, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure all expenditures are within approved limits. Handle invoice processing and financial tracking for all event-related activities. Managing virtual and hybrid events, ensuring the digital experience is engaging for all participants. Utilize online platforms to extend the reach and effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Gathering and communicating regional market insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies and ensure event content is relevant to the MEA audience. Your background A bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, communications, or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in field marketing, event management, or a related role, with a focus on executing events in the MEA region. Strong event planning and management skills, with a proven track record of delivering successful in-person and virtual events. Experience in B2B marketing, particularly within the energy, industrial, or automation sectors. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms used for event promotion and lead generation. Deep understanding of the MEA market, including knowledge of regional business environments, cultural considerations, and local industry trends. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across various countries. Experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and event management tools. Willingness to travel across the MEA region as needed. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
