Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle assignment, scheduling, maintenance, and dispatching.


Maintenance Coordination: Ensure regular maintenance and servicing of vehicles to minimize downtime and ensure all vehicles are roadworthy.


Compliance and Documentation: Maintain all fleet-related documents, including insurance, registration, and inspection records. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.


Driver Management: Coordinate with drivers to ensure safe driving practices, efficient routes, and compliance with company policies.


Inventory Management: Keep track of fuel usage, vehicle parts, and equipment, ensuring proper inventory levels.


Cost Management: Monitor fuel consumption, repair costs, and other fleet-related expenses, implementing cost-saving initiatives where possible.


Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, including vehicle condition, driver performance, and cost analysis for senior management.


Safety and Training: Organize training for drivers on safety standards, vehicle handling, and emergency procedures.


Emergency Response: Act as the first point of contact for emergencies or breakdowns, coordinating the necessary support to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
