Job Description

Administer operations of facilities management plans and policies to create suitable working environment for employees and their activities and ensure general upkeep and maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards in line with overall business plans and objectives, Group guidelines and policies Gather data and information to prepare documents to put out tenders for contractors and manage the work of contractors Support team members to analyze costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money Perform broad range of tasks and activities for services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling Follow and achieve compliance to ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation to keep staff safe Provide timely and effective administrative support for best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing of current premises May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices Support and interact with senior colleagues of own and other teams Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
