Job Description
The Facade Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing client relationships, and generating new business opportunities in the facade and glazing sector. This role requires a deep understanding of facade systems, market trends, and customer needs, along with strong sales and negotiation skills. The Facade Sales Manager will lead a team, develop sales strategies, and work closely with design, production, and project management teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth targets in the facade and glazing market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking with potential clients.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, developers, and contractors.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients and stakeholders, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Sales Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team, setting clear goals and providing guidance and support to achieve targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and team meetings to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
- Monitor team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
Sales and Project Coordination
- Collaborate with the project management, design, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution from sales to delivery.
- Review project specifications, proposals, and technical documentation to ensure alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
- Support the preparation of sales presentations, bids, and tenders, ensuring they meet client expectations and company standards.
Financial Management and Reporting
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and sales targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Implement pricing strategies and ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profit margins.
Networking and Industry Engagement
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with industry professionals.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, stakeholders, and potential business partners.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Customer Support and After-Sales Service
- Ensure excellent customer service and support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial contact to project completion.
- Address client concerns and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, fostering repeat business and referrals.
