Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused F&B Supervisor to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As an F&B Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage outlets, delivering exceptional service to our guests while leading and motivating your team.
- Oversee daily operations of assigned food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals and maintain service excellence
- Monitor and maintain quality, portion control, and presentation standards for all food and beverage items
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations in all F&B areas
- Manage inventory, place orders, and control costs to meet budgetary targets
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience
- Assist in developing and implementing new F&B concepts and promotions
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures and accurate POS system entries
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the F&B department
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in Food and Beverage supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
- Proven experience in cash handling and proficiency in POS systems
- Solid understanding of food and beverage operations and customer service standards in hospitality
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
- Ability to make effective decisions and work under pressure
- Physical stamina to stand and walk throughout shifts, and lift up to 20 lbs when necessary
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Post Secondary Degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management is an asset
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
- Must be eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates
