Job Title: EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Curriculum Expert

Location: Dubai.

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Curriculum Head

Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced EYFS Curriculum Expert to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The ideal candidate will ensure that the British EYFS framework is effectively applied in classrooms, providing training, mentorship, and curriculum oversight to teachers. The role involves curriculum planning, quality assurance, staff development, and maintaining compliance with EYFS standards to foster a high-quality early learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development & Implementation

Design, review, and enhance the EYFS curriculum to align with the seven areas of learning:

  1. Communication & Language
  2. Physical Development
  3. Personal, Social & Emotional Development
  4. Literacy
  5. Mathematics
  6. Understanding the World
  7. Expressive Arts & Design
  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools.
  • Ensure the curriculum meets British EYFS standards and incorporates best practices in early childhood education.


2. Training & Mentorship for Teachers:

  • Provide ongoing training and professional development for EYFS teachers.
  • Conduct classroom observations and give feedback to enhance teaching strategies and lesson delivery.
  • Mentor teachers on play-based learning, child development theories, and differentiated instruction.


3. Research & Innovation:

  • Stay updated on latest trends, research, and policies in early years education.
  • Introduce innovative teaching methodologies that enhance early childhood learning experiences.
  • Integrate technology and interactive resources into the EYFS curriculum.
