Job Description
As an Export Sales Executive for an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company, your primary responsibility would be to manage and drive the company's international sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Identify and research potential international markets for company products.
- Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to enter new markets and expand in existing ones.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
- Negotiate and close sales deals with international clients.
Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage export documentation and compliance with international trade regulations.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide excellent customer service to international clients.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns tailored for different markets.
- Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports and market analysis for senior management.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and suggest improvements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A Master's degree or MBA can be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Proven experience in international sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with export processes and international trade regulations.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and identify opportunities.
- Proficiency in foreign languages can be beneficial.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
