Job Description

What You Will Be Doing:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Lead the Bank’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.
  • Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable insights to the executive team, influencing critical decisions.
  • Develop cutting-edge financial models to guide strategic initiatives.

Capital & Liquidity Management

  • Oversee the Bank’s capital and liquidity to ensure financial stability and optimize resource allocation.
  • Drive strategic decisions on equity and debt issuance, funding transfer pricing, and capital structure.
  • Build relationships with rating agencies to maintain the Bank’s strong financial reputation.

Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and execute strategies for engaging equity and fixed-income investors.
  • Plan and lead impactful investor roadshows for equity and debt issuance.
  • Manage investor communications, including maintaining the IR section of the RAKBANK website.

Strategic Cost Management

  • Champion cost-efficiency by leading initiatives to optimize spending across all functions.
  • Introduce innovative strategies to balance operational efficiency with strategic growth.

Finance Business Partnering

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business unit heads, providing tailored financial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with corporate development teams to align financial strategies with growth objectives.
  • Drive financial performance at the business unit level, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s overarching goals.

Core Financial Operations

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow and liquidity to safeguard the Bank’s financial health.
  • Leverage financial technologies and data analytics to enhance reporting accuracy and streamline processes.

What You Should Have:

Industry Expertise

  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in finance within the banking sector.
  • Deep knowledge of banking regulations, financial reporting, and risk management.

Leadership Excellence

  • Proven ability to inspire and manage high-performance teams.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, from business leaders to regulators and investors.

What We Are Looking For:

Educational Excellence

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Advanced certifications like CA, CPA, or CFA are strongly preferred.
