Key Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in sourcing and procuring marble, stone, and related materials for residential construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of various types of marble and stone, including their properties, applications, and suitability for different building requirements.
- Strong experience in liaising with quarries and suppliers to establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Ability to evaluate material quality and ensure compliance with project specifications, budget, and timelines.
- Skilled in negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers and vendors.
- Solid understanding of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and sourcing best practices for construction materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing procurement processes from start to finish.
