About The Role
Executive Director’s main responsibility is to direct and oversee the functioning and safety of the resort, including physical buildings, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems. Under the general guidance of Vice President, Facilities person in this role will supervise a large team spread across various areas of operations.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Inspecting the facilities, verifying and documenting the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs in the property maintenance management system Ensuring regular inspections are conducted and d ocumenting preventative maintenance and energy management and conservation programs Developing and executing quality and control mechanisms for facilities including engineering, electrical, maintenance, and health and safety Preparing and monitoring the Facilities/Capital Investment budget and updating monthly forecast Reviewing and managing monthly revenue and expenditure records, c ontrolling expenses and researching ways to reduce costs and generate more revenue Hiring, training, supervising, and managing senior Facilities and support staff, including a team of Directors and Managers Promoting a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated and involved and efficiently implementing recognition and development programs in line with company Talent Management standards Suggesting creative ideas to executive management to enhance the Facilities Division's image and offering Following health and safety standards and striving for constant improvement to avoid health and injury hazards
About You
We’re looking for senior Facilities Management professionals with extensive experience in integrated resort or large hospitality/entertainment complex. You should be able to demonstrate excellent results in delivering complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders. Person in this role is expected to monitor industry and market trends and recommend creative adjustments to operations. Ability to naturally establish relationships and communicate professionally and positively with all levels in the organization is necessary to succeed in this role.
