Job Description

REPORTING TO: STORE MANAGER

KEY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION


  • Responsible for the smooth operational running of all types of indoor and outdoor parties
  • Provide customers with accurate information of our Party Packages.
  • Supervise the overall décor and theme of parties.
  • Deal with general customer service issues
  • Help to develop manpower assignments for different staff members.
  • Prepares the events scheduler/ calendar for the year.
  • Creates and maintains a data base to understand trends and develops new strategies for events and promotion for the events.

MAIN DUTIES
 Meet with potential clients and book onsite and offsite events
 Be available to conduct site visits and advise clients of what is available.
 Create themes and specific party packages for customers
 Work closely with Hotels and offer our services for their celebrations and festivities
 Manage entire events from organizing time lines to execution
 Prepare quotes and mood boards for clients
 Work closely with events team in execution
 Managing Clients expectations
 Being available on site for specific VIP events
 Ensures proper execution of the promotions/birthday parties through effective sales programs.
 Executes sales strategies to achieve budgeted attendance and sales goals.
 Follows up and manages stocks related to parties and events.
 Provides timely reports to line manager regarding performance, sales, results, customer feedback, and other related issues.
 Safeguard the workability and sufficiency of party items.
 Relieves the staff whenever there are no parties being held and does job as assigned by Store Manager
 Suggest ways to increase party sales and decrease party expense/cost.


 Ensures parties / events hosted are being done accordingly
 Party room arrangement is suitably and neatly prepared
 Gifts and game prizes are presentably arranged
 Customer specification are met as per the booking agreement
 Payment for the party is received before the party ends
 All the party expense is fully paid and the respective receipts are attached to the party/event income report upon completion of such.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
 Possess excellent verbal and oral communication skills.
 Tolerance and understanding for multi cultures
 Excellent customer service and follow up skills.
 Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
 Ability to work as part of a team
 Be able to multi task and work under time deadlines
 Confident and authoritative with ability to deal with children, parents and staff
 Flexible attitude to working requirements to meet the needs of Cheeky Monkeys Play land
 Operational experience working in a front of house leisure or retail environment
 Candidate must have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft office is important.


GENERAL
 Hours and Schedule of work – 9 hours including break, shifting and changing according to daily needs on a Rota basis.
 6 days a week, 1 day weekday off
