Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for Kindergarten (KG) for a well-reputed school in Al Ain.The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language skills to young learners, helping them develop foundational literacy, communication, and social skills. This role involves creating a fun, engaging, and interactive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported in their language development.
Key Responsibilities:Lesson Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans to teach English language skills, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources (songs, games, stories, visual aids) to keep children engaged and encourage language development.
- Align lessons with the school’s curriculum and educational objectives for early childhood education.
Classroom Management:
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for young children.
- Establish and maintain clear classroom routines and expectations.
- Promote social skills, cooperation, and good behavior while teaching respect for others.
Student Development:
- Encourage students to communicate in English both inside and outside the classroom.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, providing individualized support when needed.
- Foster emotional, social, and cognitive growth through engaging language activities.
- Support students' transition into reading and writing by introducing basic phonics and vocabulary.
Assessment and Reporting:
- Regularly assess students' language abilities and track their progress.
- Provide feedback to parents on students' development, highlighting both strengths and areas for improvement.
- Maintain records of student performance, attendance, and any incidents.
Extracurricular Activities:
- Participate in school events and activities related to the development of young children (e.g., storytelling, performances, and theme-based learning projects).
- Organize and assist with extra-curricular activities that promote language learning and communication.
Collaboration with Parents and Staff:
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on children's progress and any concerns.
- Work closely with other staff members to coordinate classroom activities and ensure students receive a well-rounded education.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on the latest teaching methods, tools, and strategies in early childhood education.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and school meetings to improve teaching skills continuously and knowledge.
Requirements:Education: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
Diploma in Early Childhood.
Experience: Previous experience teaching English to young children (ages 3-5) in a Kindergarten or Preschool setting is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners through creative and interactive teaching methods.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured, supportive environment.
- Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Teaching certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education.
- First Aid/CPR certification.

Salary: AED 4500 to AED 5000
