The Engineering Technical Control Coordinator will plan and execute the administration function in accordance with company regulations related to leave distribution and manpower resources deployment. To ensure optimum utilisation of resources to cover the 24 hrs shift operations whilst maintaining an effective quality service delivery, in adherence with the SOP.
In this role, you will:
Regularly provides operational information to Engineers, Third Party Airline customers/Technical representatives, Technicians/Mechanics regarding aircraft status and ground equipment through the use of e-mails landline phones or mobile phones.
Responsible for notifying internal and external third parties in respect to any operational requirements such as preparation for aircraft weighing, tow-ins and tow-outs, water/waste servicing, fuelling/de-fuelling.
Responsible for preparation of daily aircraft allocation sheets both EK and third party aircraft on which Base maintenance operations are based, highlighting specialist technical support requirements. Arranges for any additional requirements such as overtime outside normal office hours. Arranges and facilitates team deployment for any AOG (Aircraft on Ground) aircraft event
Provides logistic support through the control/distribution of ramp vehicles, laptops and mobile phones to the Licenced Aircraft Engineers (LAE's). Has to frequently liaise with DNATA/Facilities/GSE for ground equipment supplies. Ensures that the planned maintenance for any vehicles is maintained.
Responsible for the updates and fault reporting of all IT equipment or items such as cameras and mobile phones.
Coordinates any Lost and Found items with the EK Terminal team.
Maintenance Control Center (MCC):
Monitor Tech log debrief messages and update Minimum Equipment List Defered Defects (MEL DD) status continuously in Engineering Integrated Reporting & Info System (EIRIS) on 24 hour basis. Monitor all Delay reports & ESRs' received from outstations - process and distribute accordingly.
Ensure all documents and report are kept ready for Maintenance Control Duty Manager (MCDM) perusal in a timely manner. Update Daily Delay/ Deferred Defect (DD) graph as appropriate.
Incorporate revisions to engineering technical documentation in Compliance Monitoring (CM) controlled manuals.
Maintain and update laptops/ Aircraft On Ground (AOG) bags and various MCC documents /files like outstation rosters/contact details. Provide logistical support (office administration, filing systems, archiving data etc.)
Support any AOG situation by liaising and coordinating with the concerned internal and external stakeholders to arrange deployment of the Rapid response Unit (RRU) team as efficiently and quickly as possible.
