Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and organized Engineering Secretary to join our team. As the Engineering Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Engineering Department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring smooth communication within the team and other departments.


A little taste of your day-to-day:


Every day is different, but you’ll mostly:


  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Engineering team, including managing correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment and facilities are serviced on time.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget reports, purchase orders, and other financial documentation related to the Engineering Department.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all engineering-related documents, drawings, and maintenance records.
  • Facilitate communication between the Engineering Department and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels of engineering supplies and place orders as necessary.
  • Handle guest and internal inquiries related to engineering services with professionalism and efficiency.

What We need from you:


  • Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
