About the Job:
Perform quality assurance verifications and reviews across company’s assets and functions and provide independent assurance to top management that appropriate standards and protocols related to quality and effectiveness of chemicals are in place and the implementation throughout the chemical management lifecycles are in compliance with relevant codes, standards and company’s procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Conduct assurance audits and spot checks related to chemicals quality assurance, analyze findings, prepare reports, and maintain records for areas/activities within scope of responsibility and ensure timely investigation of matters raised through the program. Maintain confidentiality and recommend corrective action.
Review in coordination with Operations, Integrity Management, Drilling Technical Support, Technical Centers as well as line stakeholders the quality management programs and systems to identify inefficiencies, potential weaknesses and risks related to chemicals.
Conduct laboratories audits. Track audit action items and ensure that audit recommendations have been completed and closed out in coordination with concerned functions/assets.
Use the developed set of standards and measurement tools to evaluate chemicals quality and effectiveness.
Conduct verifications on third party inspection and related matters. Ensure third party inspection conducted appropriately as assigned.
Participate in investigations on observed failures / field complaints / Non conformances. Collect and analyze data’s to determine the cause of a failure. Check for nature of failure and Provide recommendation to prevent future occurrence to improve the performance of chemicals.
Maintain awareness of compliance issues related to areas of responsibility across the organization.
Extract and analyze data related to chemicals quality and performance from existing computerized management systems.
Technical / Treatment Supervision:
Review inspection, calibration and maintenance plans/reports for chemical injection/treatment packages and verify its compliance with latest company procedures, codes and standards.
Supervision:
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures:
Implement approved Department/Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department/Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations.
Performance Management:
Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department/Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability:
Comply with the ADNOC Onshore/ADNOC HSE procedure requirements.
Report all incidents and occupational illnesses to the line supervisor.
If aware of any unsafe practice or condition, or if in any doubt about the safety of any situation, immediately consult their Line supervisor.
Carry out the emergency responsibilities in line with the respective roles as per the emergency organization.
Reports:
Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
Minimum Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:
6 years of experience on chemicals types used in oil and gas industry, their applications and QA/QC of Production chemicals, Mud, Cement and lab chemicals.
Professional Certifications (Preferable):
ISO 9001 lead auditor.
