Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling software.
- Define work breakdown structure (WBS) and allocate tasks accordingly.
- Identify key milestones, critical paths, and dependencies within the project.
- Track project progress and compare it with baseline schedules.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and delay analysis reports for stakeholders.
- Forecast project completion dates based on actual progress and anticipated delays.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Attend site meetings to discuss schedule updates and mitigation strategies.
- Identify project risks related to scheduling and resource allocation.
- Suggest and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Propose alternative scheduling strategies when necessary.
- Assist in budget and resource planning based on project timelines.
- Analyze resource utilization and suggest optimizations.
- Ensure project scheduling aligns with contract specifications and client requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of schedules, revisions, and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, regulations, and company policies.
- Support claims and extension of time (EOT) requests with proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in scheduling software like Primavera P6, MS Project.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project sequencing.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
