Operational Responsibilities
1.Supervise the MEP installations, operation, and maintenance to ensure that the services and equipment’s are installed and functioning according to specifications at project site on behalf of Dubai Customs in coordination with Consultants/Contractors
2.Read and review the MEP design, technical drawings, weekly and monthly reports provided by Consultants/Contractor and verify Dubai Customs requirements are taken care in an effective way.
3.Provide technical advice regarding MEP design, construction, and testing & commissioning procedures / systems to consultants/Contractors personnel.
4.Inspect project sites to monitor and compare the progress as per approved CL 14 programme of works and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or standards.
5.Investigate and test MEP vendors and competitor products to determine product feasibility.
6.Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
7.Preparing concept design, TOR for Dubai Customs requirements and get necessary approval from Senior Manager – Project Development.
9.Technical Evaluation of MEP Contractor & Consultant during the tendering process.
10.Verifying As MEP Drawings and Lay outs for Dubai Customs building projects.
11.Co-ordination with MEP Consultants & Contractors for construction activities.
12.Follow up and coordinate with local authorities such as DEWA / DM/ Trakhees and Etisalat for Dubai customs design and build projects
13.Performa all the assigned tasks from the line manager with reliability, honesty, and discretion

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in MEP projects
