Job Description

We are looking to hire a Emirati Receptionist in Abu Dhabi for one of our clients (Medical Center). To qualify for the position, you must have 1-3 years of experience and should be familiar with the medical Field.

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and courteous Emirati receptionist to join our medical center team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both Arabic and English, have a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role is vital for ensuring smooth operations within the medical center and delivering a positive experience for patients and visitors.


Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Interaction:


    • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
    • Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.
    • Provide information about the medical center’s services, policies, and procedures.
  2. Appointment Management:


    • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments efficiently.
    • Manage physician schedules and coordinate appointment times.
    • Ensure accurate and timely appointment reminders for patients.
  3. Communication:


    • Answer and manage phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff.
    • Communicate effectively in both Arabic and English to accommodate a diverse patient population.
  4. Administrative Tasks:


    • Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health records (EHR) system.
    • Handle patient correspondence, including mail, faxes, and emails.
    • Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
  5. Insurance and Billing:


    • Verify and process patient insurance information and claims.
    • Assist with billing inquiries and manage patient account transactions.
    • Provide information regarding payment options and financial policies.
  6. Referral Coordination:


    • Schedule and coordinate patient referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation and information are accurately conveyed.
  7. Compliance and Confidentiality:


    • Adhere to local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and UAE privacy laws.
    • Ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of medical records.
  8. Office Environment:


    • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
    • Address any patient or visitor concerns promptly and professionally.

RequirementsQualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or diplomas in office administration or healthcare are a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience 1-3 years in a medical receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
Must Have:

  • Good English Language Skills.
    Good Computer Skills.
