Installs security systems components, units and printed circuit boards following instructions from Project Engineer e.g. cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks etc.
Installs structured cabling for various systems .i.e. CCTV, Access control, Intrusion detection etc.
Install and service various Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in
Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
Have experience using test electronic equipment for reading voltage e.g. digital multimeter
Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools e.g. drilling machines, screwdrivers & cutters
Be able to read and understand technical drawings, data sheets, and written work instructions
Having prior education, training & knowledge of basic electronics, security systems e.g. IP Surveillance, Intrusion detection, Access control and\or electronic power supplies are all preferred
Should have initiative to fabricate parts, cables to ensure an installation will be successfully executed
Works closely with the Project Engineer
Should have knowledge of common safety practices
Requirements
High School/ITI/Diploma.
At least 1-3 years’ experience in similar role handing ELV projects (Structured Cabling - CCTV-Fire alarm- Access Control)
