We are recruiting a ELV Supervisor with good knowledge of ELV systems, CCTV systems, Structured cabling, PA systems, Access control system, Audio systems, and other ELV systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:1.Project Planning:* Collaborating with the project manager and design team to review project specifications, drawings, and plans. Assessing the scope of work, timelines, attending site survey and resource requirements for ELV systems.
2. Installation and Commissioning: Managing the installation, testing, commissioning, and configuration of ELV systems on-site, ensuring compliance with local regulations, project specifications, and industry standards. This includes supervising the work of technicians and subcontractors involved in the installation process.
3. Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that the ELV systems are installed correctly and functioning as intended. Identifying and rectifying any defects or issues during the installation or commissioning phase.
4. Technical Support: Providing technical support and guidance to the project team, subcontractors, and clients. Assisting in resolving technical problems, troubleshooting issues, and addressing any concerns related to the ELV systems.
5. Documentation: Maintaining accurate credentials / documentation of all ELV system installations, configurations, and testing procedures. Preparing reports, as-built drawings, Technical Submittal, IR, and other documentation required for project handover and future reference.
6. Coordination and Communication: Collaborating with project managers, contractors, clients, and suppliers, to ensure effective coordination and timely completion of ELV system installations. Communicating project progress, challenges, and requirements to relevant parties.
7. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards throughout the installation and commissioning process. Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
8. Training and Handover: Providing training to end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of the installed ELV systems. Assisting in the smooth handover of the project to the client, including conducting final inspections and addressing any outstanding issues.

Job requirements



To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:



• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent or related to the field.
• Minimum of 2 or more years’ ELV Site Supervisor experience in Low Current Security Systems
• Knowledge or familiarity with ELV Systems not limited to CCTV, PA, SCS.
• Having related certifications
• Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
• Comfortable handling confidential information and documents.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Reliability, ability to work under pressure and ability to precise in communication are must.
• Having UAE Driving License will be an advantage.

Working conditions/Physical Requirements:



Work will generally take place during day shift hours; special circumstances may require weekend or shift work. Work may include travel within the United Arab Emirates. Work can take place both indoors and outdoors. The job may include extended periods of standing, lifting of heavy objects, or repetitive tasks and the use of lifts, ladders, or scaffolding. Work may include use of hand and power tools.
