Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and supervise the installation of electrical systems for buildings, facilities, and other infrastructure projects
• Ensure that electrical designs comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements
• Prepare detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation using design software
• Perform load calculations, electrical distribution designs, and determine equipment requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues, ensuring systems are fully functional and safe
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
• Manage and coordinate with subcontractors and electrical teams on-site to ensure timely and accurate project delivery
• Ensure proper documentation and maintain detailed records of electrical designs, modifications, and as-built drawings
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering technologies and safety standards
• Work closely with other engineers and project managers to integrate electrical systems into broader construction plans

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the UAE or GCC region
• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical design, distribution systems, and safety standards
• Proficiency in using electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools
• Ability to conduct load analysis, and knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations
• UAE Driving License is required
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with both technical teams and clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial projects in the UAE or GCC
• Certifications in electrical safety or other relevant fields
