Job Description

We are seeking an experienced e-FX Front Office Support Analyst for our banking client. This role focuses on e-FX support, pricing, risk management, and distribution connectivity, requiring 5+ years of relevant experience and strong technical expertise.


PURPOSE OF JOB


The e-FX FO Support Analyst will be required to be part of GM IT FO eFX Squad responsible to provide IT services to Global Markets team. The squad is responsible for support, change request and projects pertaining to Global Markets. Key responsibilities of the role include engaging with business, conducting analysis, developing requirements, reviewing technical and functional design, building and testing solution, and ensuring proper closure of the different initiatives by taking ownership/accountability end to end.


TASKS


  • Part of a team responsible for definition and ownership of the strategic initiatives for e-FX support – pricing, risk management and distribution connectivity
  • Assisting with scoping the business requirements and part of a team managing the operational and technical delivery of these requirements as a stakeholder.
  • Assist with managing the day-to-day operations of the initiatives and its marketing globally by working in tandem with e-FX client services, GM sales and product services
  • Assist with developing and creating specifications of new client facing products designed to help clients and trading with a view on a changing regulatory environment.
  • Assist in developing and specifying new trader and sales platforms designed to effectively assist risk management of client flows.
  • Assist and influence e-FX management heads in the book of work and strategic plan for Global Markets and our product offerings.
  • Understand the competitive landscape to ensure the product suite is (at a minimum) as capable as competitor offerings. Ensure existing product offerings are aligned with changing market standards and technology enhancements.
  • Assist to support the Market Data Platform and deal STP solutions.
  • Manage the new product approval process for all product/platform developments.
  • Participate in and coordinate UAT testing for new product rollouts.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 5 years of experience as eFX Front office Support Role
  • Extensive experience in supporting the top tier Treasury Systems
  • Experience with banking industry systems is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in supporting 24x7 systems is desirable and experience in Products i.e Maxxtrader , Refinitv
  • Basic skills in Unix command line and SQL Database usage and basic shell scripting
  • Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other team members. Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner with a zeal for self-learning. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi  task.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills accompanied with excellent communication.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


  • Strong record of stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of the financial markets, trading and banking solutions
  • Strong knowledge of the Global Markets products and practices, front-to-end: pricing, limit checks, booking, risk management,
  • Candidate must be technically astute and have had relevant exposure and experience with bank systems and processes.
  • Strong proven track record of liaising with stakeholders for business requirements, specification documents, testing processes and other relevant information.
  • Strong numerical skills coupled with the ability to deliver well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Candidate must display strong verbal and written communication skills.
