Job Description

The Education Programme Specialist is a key member of the implementation team, responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge educational programmes aligned with the latest pedagogical standards and technologies. This role involves creating innovative, high-quality content, supporting education programmes across various locations, and fostering partnerships with government entities and schools to ensure effective programme delivery.

Curriculum Integration: Conducts comprehensive content mapping against the Ministry of Education (MoE) and other relevant K-12 curricula, ensuring alignment with current educational standards and practices.

Liaison and Collaboration: Establishes and maintains strong relationships with educational authorities and government entities to facilitate programme adoption and implementation processes.

Programme Delivery: Oversees the implementation of the educational programme (e.g., the Houbara Model) in schools across Abu Dhabi and beyond, coordinating with newly trained educators to ensure successful execution.

Content Development and Innovation:

Creates and curates digital and physical educational materials leveraging modern education technologies.

Builds and manages an online content library to support continuous learning and resource accessibility.

Develops and integrates innovative tools and methods, such as interactive e-learning platforms, gamification, and AI-driven teaching aids.

Training and Workshops:

Designs and delivers workshops and training sessions for teachers, students, and school communities.

Supports capacity-building initiatives for educational professionals and learners.

Evaluation and Improvement:

Regularly evaluates and updates existing educational resources to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Gathers feedback from educators and students to enhance programme quality and outcomes.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

Coordinates with schools, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote educational outreach and awareness initiatives.

Communicational and Working Relationships:

Internal: Frequent collaboration with team members, managers, and departmental heads.

External: Regular interaction with government entities, education officials, consultants, and agencies.

Independence of Operations:

Operates with autonomy to develop and implement plans within professional standards.

Accountable for ensuring high-quality deliverables subject to review by the Head of Education.

Physical Effort:

Moderate physical activity during site visits and outreach events.

Frequent travel within and outside Abu Dhabi may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in education, Communication, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in educational programme development and teaching, with at least 3 years in the UAE.

Demonstrated expertise in integrating modern pedagogical strategies, including technology-enhanced learning tools.

Previous experience collaborating with government entities and navigating their processes.

Skills:

Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong knowledge of emerging trends in education, such as blended learning, flipped classrooms, and competency-based education.

Proven ability to develop interactive and engaging educational content.

Excellent organizational and project management skills.
