Early Career Trainee – Procurement specialist

The Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 12 months in Dubai and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.
As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:
Manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Understands concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches.
Responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities
Place and follow-up on Pos’. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
Contributes to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete, and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months.

To be successful in this traineeship you will: Have a bachelor’s degree in
economics, supply chain management, or business administration graduated from your bachelors’ degree within the last 24 months.
Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.7 out of 4.0.
Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills.
Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge.
Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying, without sponsorship or time restrictions.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills.
