The Early Career Program is 24 month program that offers an incredible opportunity to challenge yourself and gain valuable work experience. A Long-Term Internship at GE Aerospace is demanding but equally rewarding and will give you the tools you need to accelerate your career. As an Early Career Trainee (ECT) at GE Aerospace you will gain hands on experience across the most important elements of Aviation Operations including Sales and Marketing, Customer Support, Engineering and Maintenance and Repair Operations

Essential Responsibilities:
As an ECT Trainee at GE Aerospace, you will be assigned to support projects across the different functions on a rotational basis. As the traineeship progresses, the you will be expected to accept greater responsibilities until you are able to assume a lead role in a specific customer engagement later in the program, to be chosen based on business priorities at the time. Your main responsibilities will be as per the below:
Oversee shop floor projects, lean initiatives, and manage tooling, ensuring effective collaboration across departments. Support line, field and quick-turn maintenance by shadowing operation and production engineers.
Learning Objectives:
Introduction into Aviation Introduction into Aircraft Engines Fundamentals Introduction into an MRO environment and Regulations (Part 145) Hands-on Training on LEAP HPT Blade Distress Strip and Build Develop skills in interpreting approved technical manuals. Communication skills through report writing and presentations. Cross-functional collaboration and teamwork Pre-induction support Level 8 Engineering Focal Foundational understanding of SAP (Dispositioning and router management), DRs (escalations pathways) and Workscoping (Y3).
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferably in Engineering Recent Graduate or graduate with less than 1 year of experience and passionate about Aviation Industry Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
