About the job E-com Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics operations for e-commerce orders, ensuring smooth order fulfillment from warehouse to customer.
  • Collaborate with warehouses, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to manage inventory levels, order processing, and shipping schedules.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery, and address any delays or issues that arise during the shipping process.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery status, and inventory levels.
  • Ensure that all logistical processes adhere to quality standards, company policies, and customer expectations.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery updates, tracking information, and any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate with the customer service team to resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics.
  • Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve delivery times.
  • Work with the IT team to manage and update logistics systems and software, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in e-commerce logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards related to shipping and logistics.

Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, with a focus on e-commerce or retail logistics.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, order management systems, and shipping software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address logistics-related issues and optimize processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including customer service, IT, and operations.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
