About the Job:


An opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Duty Manager to join our Rooms team in Jumeirah Beach Hotel


Purpose: To provide compliance support and coordination to ensure efficient operations within the Rooms Division departments (Front Office, Club and Villas). Serving as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication and streamlining workflows in all matters related to compliance and internal audit


The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:


  • Rebates – ensure documentation is completed accurately, upload them and follow-up on the process
  • Paid Out – ensure documentation is completed accurately, upload them and follow-up on the process
  • VCC Charging – double check that the report has no failures. If it does, communicate with the reservations team and follow up accordingly
  • City Ledgers – ensure payment is obtained and they are closed on time
  • Refunds – double check on the documentation, raise them in power app, follow-up to ensure it is completed on a timely manner
  • Payment Postings – follow-up with the accounting team to ensure they are posted in a timely manner
  • PM accounts – not to be open without FOM, ADOR, DOR or your approval. Monitor them and close them on time
  • Transfer box (including Credit Card variance) – to be followed up to, responded and actioned in a timely manner
  • Rate Discount Form and Complimentary Forms – ensure they are attached to all upcoming reservations and follow-up with the relevant individuals to get it accomplished
  • Routing Accuracy – double check arrivals for the following 3 days to ensure all routings are accurately and completed with the right notes. If not, follow-up with the required department
  • Credit Limit Follow-up – monitor the accounts and follow-up with the team to ensure timely collection of payment
  • Night Audit Pack – review of accuracy of all reports and submit to ADOR / DOR for signature
  • Communicate with team members, managers, directors and colleagues within Group Services to get the job completed. Building a rapport and relationship with such stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain an organized filing system for required data, according to what is needed for the internal audit
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organization through networking and fostering positive relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Support colleagues within and outside the department as needed to ensure operational and customer service objectives are met
  • Any other duties assigned by the ADOR or DOR

About You:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 


  • 1-2 years’ experience in  Front Office or Compliance Experience. 
  • Strong understanding of core hotelier operations. 
  • Proficiency in English is required, ideally complemented by proficiency with a second language
  • Competent in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong Customer service orientation and ownership.
