DUTY MANAGER PROFILE: RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Leading by example -
Creating a positive environment -
• Coaching the team on duty - inspiring,givingfeedback,developingindividual strenghts.
• Takingcare that crew members are able to have breaks that they are allowed to.Organizingsmall gifts as thank you for busy season or throwing staff get-together happenings.
• Trainingnew crew members.
Ensuring employee productivity -
• Efficient deployment of resources.Makingsure that every crew member has a focus and clear priorities.
• Making necessary changes to original rostering/work shift when needed.
Monitoring efficiency of processes -
• Scalingthe way of working from high peak to off-peak.
• Quality checks onstandards and criteria of operations. Developingdaily routines and workingmodels closely with park manager.
• Supervising first aid cases.
Interacting with customers -
• Taking initiative in ensuringthat customers are satisfied and crew member interactions with customers are positive.
• Resolvingconflicts and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Handling difficult guests.
• Answeringemail and phone enquiries.
Managing specific area of responsibility - Every duty manager Is pointed a specific field of competence and responsiblllty -one or more.
1) Safety management (parkwide or countrywide):2) Maintenance and repairing activities,
3) Training: 4) Assistant workwith marketing/sales:5) Coordinatingdifferent programs and events,
6) Substitute for quipment, cash management (change,petty cash)
