Job Description
- Create accurate architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop and update designs based on feedback.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure design integration and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Review and ensure drawings meet accuracy, clarity, and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date drawing records and assist in preparing presentation drawings.
- Attend site visits as needed to ensure design requirements are met and resolve any drawing-related issues.
- Stay updated on design trends and participate in training to improve skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma/degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years as a Draughtsman in architectural/structural design, ideally in construction/engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software; strong knowledge of drawing standards, building codes, and construction processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
