Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape drafting and design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed landscape drawings and plans using CAD software. Collaborate with landscape architects, designers, and project managers to develop design concepts and translate them into technical drawings. Prepare detailed construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and team members. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including site analysis, conceptual designs, and presentation materials. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of designs. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Conduct site visits to gather information and verify measurements as needed. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Draftsman in the landscaping industry or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar). Strong understanding of landscape design principles, horticulture, and construction methods. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.* Relevant certification or degree in drafting, architecture, landscape architecture, or a related field is preferred.
