JOB PURPOSE
Develop and manage the service activity offered for the oil and gas downhole applications. Be the subject matter expert within FPI worldwide ensuring the level of services provided are in line with the oil and gas industry best practices
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Technical Subject Matter Expert – Field service Downhole
- Ensure the Field Service procedures used for the installation of FPI downhole products are well optimised considering the customer field environment.
- Liaise with PID downhole product experts to update the procedures when required.
- Manage the reporting of the downhole field service jobs. Ensure all activities are documented by site Supervisors, Site QC and Site HSE (when applicable) personnel to meet company and audit requirements.
- Support the field service teams for technical matters related to the field inspection of downhole products.
- Support the QA/QC team for customer claims and investigations related to field service activity
- Validate and publish periodical lessons learned and best practices related to field service activity
- Confirm the compatibility of running tools and accessories with fiberglass pipes.
Competency management of the downhole Field Service manpower
- Manage the competency level of the field service engineers.
- Develop a training program to qualify the field service engineers.
- Assist the recruitment of new field service engineers for downhole
- Ensure meeting the costumer service level expectations
Coordinate the downhole Field service activity
- Liaise with the local sales teams to monitor the needs for field service engineers.
- Ensure sufficient manpower is available to support the development of the downhole activity in all the geo markets.
- Liaise with the local field service manager to optimise the use of existing resources.
- Organise when needed with the respective field service managers, the temporary allocation of a field service engineer outside his geographical perimeter.
- Manage the reporting of the service activity for downhole
Development of service activity
- Capture the needs for any new services and develop solutions with the support of the required department.
- Support the sales teams worldwide to promote our service portfolio developing the proper value proposition
- Establish and review SOW of service contracts as needed
QHSE
- Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions.
- Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations.
- Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures.
- Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting, customer claim investigation, and review of QHSE performances as required.
- Ensure all the field service teams deliver the same level of quality worldwide.
- Encourage the field service teams to share and develop best practices.
SPAN OF Communication
- Internal: Field service managers, PID, Projects, Market Development, Technical sales and Sales managers, Production and QC Departments
- External: End Users, Service Providers, Contractors, Subcontractors, Third Party Inspectors
