Job Description

  • Additionally, you may be responsible for generating regular reports, maintaining document logs, and assisting in the transition to electronic document management systems to improve overall efficiency and document security.
  • In the role of Document Controller, your primary duty is to meticulously manage and organize project-related documents, guaranteeing their accuracy, currency, and accessibility to relevant team members.
  • Working in close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, you will be responsible for implementing and upholding document control procedures, including version control, naming conventions, and file storage protocols.
  • Facilitating effective communication and data sharing within project teams is a fundamental role of Document Controllers, who also take responsibility for ensuring document compliance with regulatory and quality assurance criteria.
  • The central responsibility of a Document Controller is to maintain and organize project-related documents, ensuring their precision, currency, and accessibility for relevant team members.
  • A critical aspect of your role will involve conducting thorough reviews of incoming documents to ensure their conformity with established standards, adherence to formatting guidelines, completeness, and the accurate tracking of changes and revisions.
