Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the West Crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The interior of the resort is inspired by the ancient palaces of the Ottoman Era and features hand-painted finishings, artworks and stunning murals influenced by the Golden Age of the Ottoman Empire. The resort features 405 rooms and suites, 38 Royal Villas, and the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest and most luxurious spas in the Middle East. About the Job


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director to join the Sales team in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Set clear and achievable sales targets for the sales team, in line with company goals and market potential, and monitor progress towards these targets.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the sales team, motivating them to achieve sales targets and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train sales personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to succeed in their roles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, analyze competitor activity, and develop strategic plans to capitalize on market trends.
  • Forecast sales volumes, track sales performance, and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights into sales trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and services, as well as industry trends, ensuring the sales team is well-equipped to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives and to address customer needs effectively.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, tools, and techniques to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness, staying ahead of the competition and driving continuous growth.

About You


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:


  • 10 years of experience in in a leadership position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Studies or other relevant fields
  • Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Advanced)
  • Knowledge of CRM/Opera
  • Problem solving
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Creative
  • Project Management Skills 
  • Detail orientated
