We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales with a strong background in the leisure segment to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leisure sales, particularly within the CIS/European markets, and a proven track record of developing strategic partnerships, driving direct bookings, and maximizing revenue potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue from the leisure segment, with a particular focus on the CIS/European markets.
- Identify, negotiate, and establish strong relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, DMCs, and online distribution partners.
- Drive direct business through proactive prospecting, account management, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to develop targeted promotions and campaigns for leisure travelers.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the leisure segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key leisure travel partners, VIP clients, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to enhance engagement and drive business.
- Represent Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai at industry events, trade shows, and roadshows in key feeder markets.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and provide strategic insights to optimize revenue opportunities.
- Work closely with the revenue management team to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets aligned with the hotel's business objectives.
- Collaborate with the wider sales and marketing team to ensure alignment with overall business strategies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members to enhance overall team performance.
- Ensure compliance with Hyatt’s sales policies and brand standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in hotel sales, with a strong focus on the leisure segment.
- Proven track record in developing and managing business from the CIS/European markets is highly preferred.
- Strong network of travel trade partners, tour operators, and agencies in key feeder markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Englishand Russia language skills would be a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with sales systems (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed for sales trips, trade shows, and client meetings.
