About the job Director- Human Capital
Our client has a legacy of the oldest family-run conglomerate with their business including manufacturing, food and beverage, real estate, distribution, and solutions providers in the UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Oman.
They are currently looking for Director-Human Capital who will be responsible for developing and executing the human capital strategy in alignment with the organizations overall goals. This includes leading efforts in talent acquisition, employee development, organizational culture, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Human Capital Management:
- Develop a human capital strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize human capital needs.
- Implement workforce planning initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Lead recruitment strategies and enhance employer branding.
- Develop employee retention strategies focused on satisfaction and engagement.
- Establish DEI strategies for an inclusive workplace.
Talent Development and Succession Planning:
- Implement leadership development and succession planning programs.
- Manage employee learning initiatives and mentorship programs.
Performance Management:
- Oversee a robust performance management system and KPI setting.
- Enhance performance review processes and recognition programs.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Design competitive compensation packages.
- Monitor market trends and collaborate on budgeting.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Assess workplace satisfaction and drive engagement strategies.
- Foster a positive culture through recognition and wellness programs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage employee grievances.
- Oversee health, safety, and welfare programs.
HR Technology and Analytics:
- Implement HR technology systems for efficiency.
- Use data analytics to evaluate and improve human capital initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications Summary:
- Education: Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in HR, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Certifications: SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CIPD Level 7, or similar preferred.
- Expertise: Strategic human capital management, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development.
- Management: Experience overseeing large teams, budgets, and HR functions across multiple locations.
- Leadership: Strong ability to motivate and develop teams; align HR strategies with business goals.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of influencing senior leadership and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Data-Driven: Proficient in using HR metrics for decision-making.
- Problem-Solving: Strong abilities in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Change Management: Experience in organizational change, mergers, acquisitions, and restructures.
